Use one towelette to completely remove all dirt and debris from surfaces to be treated.

To disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces, thoroughly wet for disinfecting. Use enough towelettes for treated surface to remain visibly wet for 5 minutes. For heavily soiled surfaces, clean before following disinfecting instructions. Allow surfaces to air dry. These wipes are fantastic! They are smooth/gentle, smell subtly fresh and natural, and really clean well.
I read other reviews talking about residue and strong smell, which I think were written by people who have no experience with natural cleaners (or Clorox and Lysol wipes, for that matter) and expected a different product. It is very important to remember what these wipes are intended for. They are intended to disinfect and clean, and they do that perfectly. They are not glass cleaning wipes and may leave a minute bit of residue, which I like because it means that the natural disinfectants are staying behind on the object and killing more germs after I finish. If I need a polished finish for some reason, I just use a dry terry cloth to quickly wipe over things afterward.
As far as smell goes, the Seventh Generation, Clorox, and Lysol wipes smell much stronger, irritate my skin, have some not-so-healthy ingredients, and also leave a residue. So, in comparison, these are the gentler, cleaner option. I have now permanently switched over to Zoom Wipes: Evolution.

I was introduced to Zoom Wipes Evolution because I am a massage therapist, and the spray version is used to clean Himalayan salt stones used in massage. I love the spray cleaner. Sometimes, though, a spray will cause more of a mess than if I simply could wipe something up. That is where these little beauties come in. The wipes are a soft cotton feel, thorough saturation of the cleaner on the towelettes, the container seals nicely, and they clean like a dream! I had purchased these to wipe off my massage table after a client and for deep cleaning days when it would be a waste to use a ton of the spray all over the office. I now use this bucket at home and will need a new one for when my office opens!
I did a deep clean on my house yesterday that usually would have had me passing out from chemical smell overload. Even spraying the liquid product of this would have had me passed out.
